O’Day 25 “Daydreamer”

The O'Day 25 is a surprisingly spacious boat with a large cockpit and wide companionway offering 5 berths in 2 cabins.

With an encapsulated 900kg lead stub keel housing a pivoting centreboard, the variable draft makes it well suited to both coastal cruising and creek crawling.

'Daydreamer' has always been wintered ashore and a mooring on the River Tamar could be arranged for a reasonable annual rent.

A great starter boat, currently afloat on a mooring on the beautiful River Tamar at Weir Quay.

Reasonable condition for a yacht of this age

All rigging sound

Good useable sails, ready to be used next season.

She has been cleaned and anti-fouled, but will probably benefit from doing again for next season

Fairly basic interior but will sleep 2. Could add a small cooker,porta-potti and rewire lights to improve if you wished to overnight. Roller furling headsail. Anchors, fenders, ropes. Outboard motor is NOT included in the sale.

The sails which are currently stowed in sail-bags below deck.

Please note I live a 4 hour drive from the boat so viewing is a slight problem although you are welcome to go to view yourself. However viewing can be arranged for serious buyer. I am retired so could be flexible on timings for viewing.

Moorings are available at Weir Quay, either from the Weir Quay Boatyard (at commercial rates) or from Weir Quay Sailing Club (subject to availability and membership).
